I love Poetic License shoes, so when I saw these were being offered in red under $30, I ordered them impulsively. In the days I was waiting for them to arrive, I kept second guessing my decision. I got them yesterday and, knowing that the sole of Poetic License shoes picks up dirt easily due to its texture, took some lint roller sheets and stuck them to the bottom of the soles before trying them on (doesn't leave sticky residue). When I tried them on, they were so much more beautiful than pictured. I really loved the way that they looked on. Unfortunately, the front of the shoe is incredibly - painfully - narrow (I have average to slightly narrow feet and the length was the correct size). In addition, I could not walk in these without taking baby steps. Walking normally, the shoe slipped off the back of my heel with every step. There is a piece of elastic at the back of the heel which I believe is supposed to prevent this from happening, but in my experience it was ineffective. One other note, the red of the leather is lighter than pictured, but that didn't really bother me. I wish these would have worked out, but I suppose there is no point in having shoes that you can't walk in!
